Alzheimer & Dementia

According to Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer is a form of dementia that causes problem with memory, thinking and behavior. The symtphom develops slowly and get worse over time. It will become severe enough to interfere with daily tasks and lives. According to World Nation, there are 5 millions people with this disease. Every 67 seconds, someone in US develops Alzheimer.

 

 

 

It is estimated that around 3.2 million women aged 65 or above are living with Alzheimer. 

 

For woman with age 65 and without alzheimer, the chance to have alzheimer disease during her life time is 1 out of 6, compare with 1 out of 11 for man.
